These include lanterns, hanging decorations, lights, interior items such as textiles and pillows, dishware, cups, scatter rugs, baskets, and gift packages on which Ramadan logos have been applied, as well as personal accessories, for example, table mats for the Quran and prayer counters.
Consumers noted that stores do not offer discounts and promotions, so they require more favorable offers to increase their purchases. There was also a desire to increase the number of stores offering such products to guarantee their quality and lower prices.
Journalists observed that some products are produced at the local level, while others are imported from various Asian countries. Prices for products start from 5.75 to approximately 200 dirhams.
One of the consumers, Ahmed Al-Mansouri, noted that retail outlets are starting to offer a wide assortment of products for the holy month of Ramadan, including lanterns, decorations, and home items with Ramadan logos. He emphasized that such initiatives support the upcoming month of fasting.
Consumer Jamal Zakariya noted that this year many stores have begun to offer various products for Ramadan celebrations of different forms, sizes, and colors, adding festive arrangements for both children and adults.
Some consumers also expressed the opinion that Ramadan celebration products provide a special joy for the upcoming month and requested promotions and discounts, as well as an increase in the number of stores offering similar products to enhance their diversity, quality, and accessibility.
A representative from a store confirmed that Ramadan celebration products, especially in the evening, are in high demand and that prices for them are accessible for different categories of consumers. Another store assessed a high interest in similar products since their appearance, expecting higher demand as Ramadan begins.
