Brazilian businessman Igor Batista announced a fundraising of 500 million dollars for a new project on the production of ecological aviation fuel and packaging for food products. The goal is to attract 100 million dollars through the sale of its own cryptocurrency token EIKE for financing the project. Developed on the Solana blockchain, the token is valued at 1 dollar.
"Receiving funding from investors, including Abu Dhabi Investment Group (ADIG), for the project will use a new type of saharan fiber as raw material," Batista shared.
This is the latest attempt by the 68-year-old Batista to restore his reputation and revive the business after it once ranked among the richest people in the world.
