Dubai Holding announced the return of the charitable initiative "Gifting in its Place" during the holy month of Ramadan this year. Participants will also be engaged in educational seminars on the importance of recycling and closed-loop economics, to become leaders in sustainability in their communities and companies where they work.
The "Gifting in its Place" initiative highlights the importance of collaboration and collective efforts, with more than 25 employees, including brands from Dubai Holding, Jumeirah, and Dubai Parks and Resorts. The aim of this initiative is to create a culture of volunteering and social awareness, enhancing local efforts in the workplace.
The initiative also organizes a multitude of events, including the competition "Innovate for Tomorrow", a global competition launched in 2024 in partnership with the business incubator in5, a division of TECOM Group, aimed at ensuring startups with effective sustainable solutions and providing new financial and commercial opportunities.
The "Gifting in its Place" initiative embodies the spirit of generosity and sustainability strategy within Dubai Holding, contributing to the development of responsible consumption and production in society in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 12, set forth by the United Nations.
