The Organization of the United Nations announced on Thursday the allocation of 110 million dollars from its special emergency fund to provide assistance to those affected by natural disasters in various countries around the world.

According to the representative of the UN, this funding will go to support victims of floods, droughts, forest fires, and other disasters that occurred in different regions of the planet. Notably, among the recipients of aid will be people who have lost their lives and means of subsistence due to natural disasters.

"This funding allows organizations to respond rapidly to extraordinary situations and ensure that those affected receive the necessary goods and services," noted the UN representative.
