A noteworthy total of 679.6 million transactions were processed via digital platforms, out of which 13.39 million were facilitated through RTA’s smart applications. These advancements form part of RTA’s overarching strategy to extend digital services and enrich user experience.

One of the key initiatives includes making 46 out of 92 services for individuals accessible on the Dubai Now application. The RTA is incorporating technologies like artificial intelligence in traffic management, intelligent data analysis, and autonomous transportation for further development.

Among the recent introductions are innovative features such as the AI-powered chatbot, Mahboub, and cashless smart kiosks. Moreover, services are being interlinked with financial institutions, insurance companies, and ports to streamline procedures related to vehicle registration, sales, and exports.

These initiatives are aligned with the 360 Services Policy aimed at the full digitization of services, ensuring their availability across all platforms and seamless integration. The RTA emphasized that these measures are designed to support the vision of the UAE leadership to position Dubai as the world's smartest city.

Notable statistics reveal an 18% surge in app downloads, with the total reaching 3.74 million, and a 27.5% increase in registered users, which now amounts to 1.94 million. Further, the issuance of parking tickets through smart apps reached nearly 30 million in 2024, signifying a 24% increase from the previous year.
