Emaar Properties has reported a significant rise in net profits attributable to shareholders, showcasing strong performance in the real estate sector.

According to the latest financial report, the net profit of Emaar Properties, attributable to the shareholders, increased by 8.1% in the first half of 2021 compared to the equivalent period of the previous year, reaching 3.192 billion dirhams (869 million dollars).

It is noted that the revenue from real estate sales increased by 46% to 10.5 billion dirhams (2.86 billion dollars), while the gross profit grew by 58% and amounted to 6.2 billion dirhams (1.69 billion dollars).

The company reported that these indicators have reached record levels over the last six years, thanks to improved operational performance in the recovery period following the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, dividends for the first half of 2021 amounted to 15 fils per share.
