The private credit sector is witnessing increasing inflows from high-net-worth individuals, driven by new products and digital access, according to the report. This growth is attributed to strong demand from institutional and high-net-worth investors seeking returns and to diversify their investments. This is according to a joint report by the Alternative Investment Management Association (through its specialized private credit arm, the Alternative Credit Council), law firm Simmons & Simmons, and consulting firm EY. Bloomberg forecasts that the private credit market in the Asia-Pacific region will grow at a 16% annual rate to reach $92 billion by 2027, up from $59 billion in 2024.
