The United Arab Emirates has announced the launch of a new program for content creators. The initiative, part of the 'Billion Followers Summit', aims to support and incubate promising startups in the content industry. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch their projects to a committee of top investors and experts. Successful projects can secure funding of up to 50 million AED. The program also features a team of mentors who will provide guidance and tools to help participants scale their businesses sustainably. The event is scheduled to take place from January 9-11, 2026, in Dubai, UAE.
"This reflects the success of the summit as a platform for nurturing creativity and entrepreneurship, and reinforces the UAE's position as a global capital for the creative and digital economy," said Alia Hammadi, Vice Chairman of the UAE Media Office and CEO of the Billion Followers Summit.
