In the old alleys of Al Fahidi, where the walls bear witness to the beginnings of Dubai, and the scent of spices mingles with the warmth of clay, began the story of the merchant Muhammad al-Ansari. He lost all his money in trade, but he did not break. He decided to rise from the ashes of his losses by opening a kebab restaurant, thus writing the first pages of the success story of one of Dubai's most famous kebab restaurants.
The project "Stadium Private Kebab" was a family affair from the start. His wife and life partner lit the first flame, creating the initial recipes that attracted customers and brought the restaurant dazzling success. Al-Ansari's father was known in the Big Souk and had good relations with traders. That is why, when he lost his money, many of them became customers of his new restaurant.
According to al-Ansari, the secret to success in the restaurant business begins first with respect for customers, and then with a commitment to providing exceptional food quality and maintaining that quality over the years. He noted that their restaurant made it into the list of most-demanded restaurants by the "Talabat" app due to his respect for people and the exceptional quality of the food, as well as by hiring the right people for the right positions.
"My father worked in trade and lost all his money," al-Ansari recounts. "He decided to overcome the crisis by opening a kebab restaurant. My mother cooked food at home, and he sold it. Together, they achieved a success that continues to this day."
The restaurant is distinguished by a special decor: the walls are decorated with photos of customers, and coins are placed under the glass table tops. Many old artifacts are also hanging on the walls. Al-Ansari emphasizes that for success in any field, it is not enough to simply see it as profitable; one must understand the fundamentals of the business.
"Every profession has its secrets for success," he says. "If you want your project to succeed, you must oversee it yourself and daily, without relying on employees." He also added that many restaurants in Dubai are now entering the competition without being familiar with the fundamentals of the restaurant business.
Despite the simplicity of the establishment, which remains in its original location, its quality and distinction in serving kebab have preserved its reputation for decades. It entered the list of the top 50 most-demanded restaurants on the food delivery app "Talabat" in Dubai. Among the celebrities who have visited the restaurant are the Kuwaiti artist Abdullah al-Ruwaished and many others. A particularly notable visit was that of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, which al-Ansari described as "a day of celebration."
