Dubai Media Corporation has announced the launch of the economic program 'Economy 101'. The program's goal is to highlight the key transformations taking place in Dubai across various economic sectors and reflect its vision of building a diverse, digital economy based on innovation and knowledge. This affirms the emirate's leadership and its status as a global hub for entrepreneurship and technology.

The new program, airing on Dubai TV, is part of the corporation's strategy to support Dubai's course in cementing its position as a leading destination for business, investment, and innovation. This aligns with the 'Dubai Economic Agenda (D33)', which aims to double the emirate's economy in the next 10 years and enhance its ranking among the top three economic cities in the world.

Hosted by Talal Mohammed, the program spans 45 minutes and features diverse segments presented in a fast-paced and lively style. It combines field reports, infographics, short dialogues, and live interviews to provide a comprehensive overview of Dubai's economy and its dynamism and competitiveness both locally and globally.

The program focuses on topics of the tech economy and advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, financial technology (FinTech), digital currencies, e-commerce, and the digital economy, while highlighting government initiatives and innovative companies that form the pillars of the emirate's economic transformation.

The program covers key economic events in Dubai, linking them to regional and global developments. Head of Television and Radio Channels at Dubai Media Corporation, Sarah German, confirmed that the new program embodies the corporation's commitment to enhancing its role in using media as a positive force that contributes to serving society and the economy, supporting comprehensive development, and reinforcing Dubai's status as a center of leadership and innovation in line with its vision and future ambitions.

'We aim through this program to provide quality economic content that keeps pace with Dubai's rapid digital transformation,' she said. 'We want to showcase success stories that reflect the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in the emirate, as we believe the economy is no longer just about numbers and indicators, but a comprehensive intellectual system based on knowledge and creativity.'
