A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Director of Commercial Affairs at 'InfraX', Yaser Abdullah Al Bahendi, and the Vice President for 'Cumulocity' for IoT in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa, Nasr Nasser El-Din. The CEO of Operations at 'InfraX', Rashid AlAhmadi, said: 'The MoU with (Cumulocity) reflects InfraX's strategic commitment to contributing to enhancing the UAE's readiness for the digital future by accelerating innovation in the fields of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)'. 'Through this collaboration, we aim to build a comprehensive digital ecosystem that enhances intelligence, efficiency, and sustainability across various sectors, which supports the country's vision of building a connected and technologically advanced economy'. 'By combining InfraX's digital infrastructure with Cumulocity's IoT platform, we are laying the foundations for building a smarter, data-driven future where enterprises and cities can innovate, scale, and operate efficiently and sustainably'. 'InfraX', a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with 'Cumulocity', a company specializing in providing IoT platforms. This agreement solidifies a strategic framework for cooperation between both parties to explore opportunities for developing Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, fostering joint business development, and implementing major projects of mutual interest. The partnership will also focus on developing a joint Go-To-Market strategy that combines InfraX's strong digital infrastructure and local expertise with Cumulocity's advanced technical capabilities in IoT. This collaboration will enable enterprises, utility companies, and smart city initiatives to apply smart connectivity technologies, enabling real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance.
