Mubadala Energy has announced significant progress in the development of the 'Tankulo' gas project, one of its key projects in its portfolio in the strategic location of the Andaman Sea. The project is progressing ahead of schedule, thanks to major discoveries in the South Andaman region and the execution of long-term engineering and construction contracts. Mansoor Mohammed Al Hammadi, Managing Director and CEO of Mubadala Energy, stated: "Our major discoveries in the South Andaman area represent a tangible step forward in the project's development plans." The development plan is scheduled to be issued in Q4 2025, with a final investment decision expected by June 2026. Gas production is set to commence in Q4 2028.
