United Arab Emirates, Dubai — Emirates District Cooling (Empower) announced the start of operations for the Marine Deira district cooling station. This step is part of Empower's expansion strategy to meet the growing demand for district cooling services in key locations. Empower confirmed that the construction of the station was carried out in accordance with the highest international standards that comply with the requirements of sustainable green buildings and modern architectural developments of the emirate of Dubai. Its engineering design replicates the general appearance of the area and the architectural identity of its buildings. The company stated that the total production capacity of the station is 39,000 tons of cooling and it will serve more than 46 buildings in the Marine Deira area.
