In 2023, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism launched the Unified Dubai License, a commercial identity that provides a unique identifier for all companies in Dubai to streamline procedures. Last year, this initiative was enhanced with the launch of the Service Providers Project, to facilitate companies' access to a wide range of services through a unified system, from banking and utilities to trade and labor procedures. According to the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the Service Providers Project, launched in October 2024, has helped reduce the time required to open a corporate bank account by 90%, cutting it down to just 5 days from a previous 65.
