Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, stated that the UAE is keen to enhance economic cooperation with Alberta in advanced economic sectors, considering them key sectors that support the transition towards a future economy, especially since both countries share common visions and economic strategies aimed at expanding and investing in these vital sectors. The Minister confirmed that Emirati-Canadian relations serve as a model for evolving strategic relations and distinguished economic partnership, thanks to the wise directives and vision of the leadership of the two friendly countries. This came during a meeting he held with Daniel Smith, Premier of the Canadian province of Alberta, on the sidelines of his participation.
