The 'Knowledge Summit' is a global event to highlight efforts to advance the knowledge journey and exchange ideas about the future of the knowledge economy to empower individuals and communities. During the exhibition, held alongside the 'Knowledge Summit', DEWA showcases its key projects and initiatives aimed at supporting sustainability and innovation, and building a knowledge-based community and economy. These include the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, the world's largest single-site solar park. Its current production capacity is 3860 MW, constituting 21.5% of DEWA's total power generation capacity from clean energy. It is expected to reach over 8000 MW by 2030, contributing to an annual reduction of 8.5 million tonnes of carbon emissions. DEWA also focuses on its Research and Development Centre, which enhances Dubai's position as a global hub for research and development in solar energy, smart grids, energy and water efficiency, and capacity building in these sectors.
