The key is always to think outside the office, even though most of our conversations—outside of work hours—are about business and its developments. This time, I was asked how I read the future of the UAE's economy in light of my attendance at several events, the latest being the government's annual meetings. We periodically meet for work sessions in various places in Dubai, be it cafes, restaurants, or clubs. I answered that the numbers speak clearly. The government announced staggering results that reflect the scale of the overall achievement and its key components. Most importantly, the goals announced for the future are even more ambitious, positioning the UAE as an active partner in the global development journey, not just a country that keeps up with changes. It already has a proven track record.
