This marks a significant milestone for the UAE-based company, solidifying its position as a trusted global partner in the advanced manufacturing and aviation sectors. The agreement, signed at the Dubai Air Show, enables Strata to produce up to 50% of Airbus's demand for these wings. The manufacturing will take place at Strata's facility in Al Ain. This partnership, spanning nearly two decades, is built on a foundation of mutual trust and excellence. Strata is committed to developing local talent and knowledge transfer through investments in training its engineers and technicians. This long-term collaboration reinforces the UAE's influential role in the global aviation industry.
"Everything Strata achieves today is a testament to international trust, documenting the impact of the UAE in the world of advanced manufacturing and the global aviation industry," the statement said.
"Throughout our partnership spanning almost two decades, Strata and Mubadala have shown complete trust and excellence, which makes them for us at Airbus the optimal choice to manufacture this new and important bundle of work, which we are announcing today as part of a partnership agreement specializing in the manufacturing of A320 aircraft wings," said Water van Wersch.
