During his visit to the Dubai Airshow 2025, which concluded today, His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the National Olympic Committee, affirmed that the major deals witnessed at the Dubai Airshow 2025 confirm Dubai's position as a key player and influential force in shaping the future of the global aviation sector. This position has been solidified thanks to the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence. His Highness praised the diligent efforts behind Dubai's advanced status as a leading global aviation hub, led by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, President and Chief Executive of Emirates Group, confirming that the expansion projects—which will see the transformation of Al Maktoum Airport into the world's largest airport, with a total capacity reaching 150 million passengers annually, with a long-term vision exceeding it to 260 million passengers annually—will enhance Dubai's position as a prime global gateway for travel and trade in the future. During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inspected a number of national and international platforms participating in the exhibition, held under the slogan 'The Future Starts Here,' where he was briefed on the latest global technologies in air navigation, advanced air transport, and the passenger experience. The visit included the platforms of 'Emirates' and 'FlyDubai,' where His Highness congratulated the two leading companies on the deals announced during the exhibition. His Highness Sheikh also visited the pavilion of the company 'Saab,' as well as the platform of the Turkish company 'Aselsan,' and the pavilion of the Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI). In addition, His Highness inspected the modern 'Etihad Airways' aircraft of the 'Airbus A321LR' model. He also attended part of the aerial displays, which, in this edition of the exhibition, included a number of the most important civil and military aircraft.
