Officials from construction supply companies have revealed that the UAE markets have seen a 30-40% increase in demand for sustainable building materials since the beginning of 2025, compared to the same period last year. They explained that this growth in demand for eco-friendly and sustainable construction supplies is due to a rise in real estate projects and villas. They also noted that the exhibition saw companies expand their offerings of innovative sustainable products for real estate projects, such as water tanks made from eco-friendly, anti-bacterial materials that reduce the internal water temperature by seven degrees Celsius.

In detail, an engineer from 'Al-Maherin Building Materials Company', Hirshad Yemuknot, stated: 'The UAE markets have witnessed a significant increase in demand for sustainable construction and building materials since the beginning of 2025, by over 40% compared to last year.' He added: 'This growth in demand comes with an increase in the number of villas and real estate projects that focus on energy conservation and green building policies.'

The Commercial Director and Construction Technology at 'GF Piping Systems', Nizar Abdel Qader, commented: 'The significant increase in new real estate projects in the UAE, including many based on green, eco-friendly concepts, along with greater awareness among investors and developers, has strongly boosted demand for sustainable building materials.'

The Sales Manager at 'Al-Bassam' factories, Muhammad Khalid, agreed that 'local markets have seen a rise in demand for sustainable building materials by over 40% since the beginning of the current year, according to market indicators and contracts.'
