According to a press release issued today, the airline's inaugural flight landed at Riga International Airport amid a warm welcome from airport officials, a step that reflects the importance of the new destination for connecting the United Arab Emirates and Latvia. The UAE's Ambassador to Latvia, Noura Juma, stated that this day marks a new phase in the friendship relations between the UAE and Latvia, and that the launch of FlyDubai's direct flights between Dubai and Riga will not only enhance connectivity between the two countries but will also open wider horizons for tourism, business, and cultural exchange. FlyDubai confirmed that the new flights are a vital factor in boosting tourism in both directions and support the growing economic relations between the UAE and Latvia, providing travelers from Latvia with seamless connections to Dubai, a global aviation hub, and other onward destinations.
