Recent figures have shown that Dubai residents spend 40.68% of their monthly income on housing, electricity, water, gas, and fuel. Meanwhile, they spend 11.66% on food and beverages, and 9.32% on transportation. According to consumer spending data published in January of this year by the 'Dubai Pulse' (Dubai Digital) platform, regarding November 2025 expenditures, Dubai residents spend 8.15% on education, 6.1% on restaurants and hospitality services, 5.69% on information and communications, 5.1% on personal care, social protection, and miscellaneous goods and services, and 4.96% on clothing and footwear. The report noted that the percentage spent on furniture, household equipment, and routine home maintenance is 3.51%, and on entertainment, sports, and culture is 2.37%. Dubai residents spend 1.26% of their income on insurance and financial services, 0.88% on health, and 0.32% on tobacco and its products.
