Tunisia and UAE Strengthen Trade Ties at Gulfood

Tunisia's Commercial Attaché in the UAE, Youssef Biyoud, reported on the significant volume of bilateral trade, highlighting the importance of the food sector. Total trade reached 956 million Tunisian dinars, with Tunisian exports amounting to 356 million. The Gulfood exhibition served as the platform for Tunisia's 19th participation in this key economic forum.


Tunisia and UAE Strengthen Trade Ties at Gulfood

Youssef Biyoud, Commercial Attaché of Tunisia in the United Arab Emirates, confirmed that the value of Tunisia's food exports to the UAE reaches approximately 140 million dirhams annually, reflecting the strength of trade relations between the two countries. Biyoud also noted that Tunisia's participation in 'Gulfood' this year marks the 19th edition, emphasizing Tunisia's commitment to this participation. On the sidelines of the 'Gulfood' exhibition, Biyoud explained that the total trade exchange between Tunisia and the UAE amounts to about 956 million Tunisian dinars, of which Tunisian exports constitute around 356 million Tunisian dinars. The food processing sector accounts for nearly a third of this volume, reflecting the growing importance of this sector in bilateral economic relations.
