In 2025, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) received awards from the British Safety Council as the best entity in the energy and utilities sector for the categories of Environment and Wellbeing for the second consecutive year. This reflects its global leadership in sustainability and advanced service standards. The awards were received by DEWA's Managing and CEO Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer from the British Safety Council's CEO Mike Robinson, in the presence of DEWA's Executive Vice President of Business Support and Human Resources Dr. Yusuf Al Awadhi, Vice President - Supply Chain, Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Zaal bin Zaal, and other senior officials.
