Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), stated that the global economy is expected to grow by 3.3% this year. This forecast reflects a gradual recovery in global economic activity following recent shocks. Georgieva emphasized that growth rates remain modest and vary significantly across regions. She also warned of ongoing risks, including high inflation and geopolitical tensions. According to her, to ensure sustainable growth, countries must continue with structural reforms and macroeconomic policies.
