Dubai and US Discuss Cooperation in Sustainable Energy

The CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, discussed ways to enhance cooperation in sustainable energy and innovation with a senior delegation from the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) of the United States. The meeting, which also included Robert Hertzberg, a senior fellow at the Mission Possible Partnership and a board member of First Public Hydrogen, focused on strengthening collaboration in research, development, and innovation, as well as building capabilities and specialized training programs. Key areas of discussion included smart grids, renewable energy, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, cybersecurity, photovoltaic system integration, and data analysis.
