Globally and regionally, the first priority is to achieve prosperity through high and continuous growth rates to improve living conditions. Technological progress helps communities preserve their resources, enabling the production of more goods from the same physical and human resources. Long-term growth cannot be achieved without advanced technology that does not increase pollution. As President Eisenhower said, "Plans are nothing; planning is everything." What are the goals of our societies, are they difficult to achieve, and how do we reach them? There are factors that can lead us to sustainable development, such as hard work while maintaining quality of life and passing it on to future generations.
