The global container shipping and logistics company MSC announced on Wednesday that it is suspending all voyages for shipments destined for ports in the Arabian Gulf currently aboard its ships. In a statement to its customers, the company said: "Due to the current situation in the Middle East, MSC regrets to announce the suspension of all voyages for all shipments currently under its custody and care, whether on land or at sea, and destined for ports in the Arabian Gulf." The company explained that all containers currently destined for ports in the Arabian Gulf will be discharged at the nearest safe port and will be delivered locally to customers.
