Azizi Developments has announced the launch of a 75 billion dirham investment plan in the hospitality sector, with the foundation stone laid for the first five-star hotel in Dubai as part of a project aimed at enhancing the emirate's global tourism infrastructure. The new hotel is one of ten hotel projects of various categories currently in progress, whether in the design, development, or construction phases. The expansion plan includes developing 151 hotels under the "Azizi Hospitality" brand, comprising 100 four-star hotels, 50 five-star hotels, and one seven-star hotel, with over 90% of these hotels located in Dubai. The company stated that this hotel portfolio will add approximately 60,000 hotel rooms to the emirate's hospitality capacity upon completion, alongside creating more than 75,000 jobs in the sector.
