During the Eid al-Fitr period, ticket prices for direct flights from Dubai have seen a significant increase compared to price levels in the last week of February. This follows regional tensions, temporary closures of some airspaces, and rising demand from residents wishing to visit their families. Booking data from the period of March 19-26 showed that some Arab destinations recorded sharp increases. Prices to Damascus rose by about 127% compared to the last week of February, to Egypt by 80%, to Amman by 70%, and to Beirut by 53%. Meanwhile, prices to Morocco remained relatively stable, with an average between 3,000 and 4,800 dirhams. Travel experts told Al-Khaleej that some routes have recorded significant price increases.
