«NRTC», a subsidiary of «Al Ghurair Food» and part of the global Al Ghurair Holding, announced the expansion of its sourcing and global logistics services to ensure the continuous availability of fresh fruits and vegetables across the UAE. The company reported that it has increased imports by approximately 50% to guarantee the constant availability of fresh products in the UAE and the region. In light of current developments, «NRTC», the official fresh fruits and vegetables supplier for «Al Ghurair Food» and Al Ghurair, has mobilized its network of international suppliers and integrated logistics infrastructure. This ensures a steady flow of fresh products to the market, reflecting the broader commitment of the UAE to enhancing food security and supply chain resilience. The CEO of «NRTC», Mohammed Naser Al Rifaie, stated that ensuring the continuity of fresh fruit and vegetable supplies through retail, wholesale, and food service channels is a top priority for the group. He added: «Our utmost priority is to prevent any disruption in the availability of fresh products in the UAE market. We are committed to providing consumers with fruits and vegetables continuously and enabling them to access all products». He continued: «Our teams have acted proactively to secure supplies from both regular and alternative sources to ensure stability and availability for retailers, corporations, and families across the state and the wider region».
