The UAE Ministry of Finance has announced the transition to a digital tax system. This transition will begin with a pilot program, followed by voluntary adoption from July 2026. A new compliance pathway for companies will be implemented gradually, becoming mandatory from 2027. The Ministry of Finance has confirmed that 'SAP' has been approved as a pre-approved provider for e-invoicing services under the new system. This makes it the first specialized enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions company to be listed on the ministry's official list of approved providers. This approval enables 'SAP' to support organizations preparing for the UAE's shift to an e-invoicing system.
