The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has announced the modification of the expiration date for individual stock futures contracts and DFMGI index futures contracts for March 2026. This adjustment is due to the original expiration date coinciding with the official holiday of Eid al-Fitr. The market explained that according to the contract specifications, if the expiration date falls on an official holiday, it is moved to the immediately preceding business day. Therefore, the expiration date has been changed from March 19, 2026, to March 18, 2026, as the market will be closed on the original date due to the holiday. It was also clarified that the final settlement of the contracts will take place on the first business day following the adjusted expiration date, which is March 23, 2026.
