Emirates Skywards Introduces Cashback for Miles

Emirates Skywards has introduced a new way for members to use their rewards, allowing them to convert Skywards Miles into cashback through the Skywards Everyday app. This feature is now available across the UAE, marking a shift in how loyalty rewards are used, from future travel to immediate, real-world value. Converting Skywards Miles into cashback is now part of everyday spending. Members can download the Skywards Everyday app from the iOS App Store or Google Play, log in with their Emirates Skywards account, and link up to five Visa or Mastercard debit or credit cards. From there, every purchase becomes an opportunity. Users can continue earning Miles as usual or choose to convert Skywards Miles into cashback directly within the app. Members can now choose to convert their Skywards Miles into cashback when shopping, dining, or using services across more than 500 partner brands in the UAE. The idea behind converting Skywards Miles to cashback is simple. Instead of waiting to redeem Miles for flights or upgrades, they can now benefit instantly from their everyday spending. The process is seamless, with prompts guiding members at each step. The earning structure remains unchanged: 1 Mile for every AED 3 spent on dining, shopping, beauty, leisure, and services, and 1 Mile for every AED 5 spent on groceries and pharmacy purchases. Members using an Emirates Skywards Credit Card can earn even more Miles on their transactions. The Skywards Everyday network includes more than 500 partner brands, covering nearly every aspect of daily life. Even visitors to the UAE can download the app and earn Miles while spending during their stay. Emirates Skywards continues to evolve beyond a traditional airline loyalty program. With over 37 million members worldwide, the program offers four tiers — Blue, Silver, Gold, and Platinum — each with its own set of privileges. Members can still redeem Miles for flights, hotel stays, and unique experiences. Rewards should fit into real life, not just future plans. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President Emirates Skywards, said the new feature is designed to give members more flexibility.
