Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency, stated on Wednesday that disruptions to oil supplies from the Middle East could have serious consequences for the global market. He emphasized that any destabilization in the region would immediately affect fuel prices. According to him, consumer countries should be prepared for any scenario and increase strategic reserves. Birol also noted that the current situation requires heightened attention from all market participants. He called for dialogue to ensure stable energy supplies.
