The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, "TADRA", revealed that the total fines for unsolicited marketing calls detected in 2025 amounted to 15.3 million dirhams. It indicated that the total number of complaints received regarding unsolicited marketing calls last year reached 334,116, noting that the authority recorded 2,725 violations of marketing calls during the same period. TADRA clarified via its official account on social media platforms that the total number of numbers reported about unsolicited marketing calls last year reached 48,519. It added in official statements on its account that these numbers reflect the efforts made by the community by reporting these violations, which had a significant impact on enhancing compliance and reducing them.
