Dubai Launches 'Future Council' Program to Support Young Entrepreneurs

Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprise Development, an entity within the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, has announced the launch of the 'Future Council' entrepreneurship program. This program aims to empower and motivate ambitious young entrepreneurs, encouraging them to develop innovative and executable ideas.

The pilot program, running over three days at the 'Dubai Entrepreneurs Hub', provides a structured practical environment. Participants can collaborate, form teams, and benefit from intensive specialized mentoring sessions. This enables them to transform their ideas into clear business models and prepare presentations to secure funding.

The first edition of the 'Future Council', specifically designed for young entrepreneurs, university students, and promising professional talents, will take place from April 28 to 30, 2026. It will feature a select group of entrepreneurship experts and mentors, alongside representatives from government and private entities.

The program facilitates direct connections between participants and mentors and partners within the entrepreneurship ecosystem, supporting the development of a new generation of founders capable of contributing to Dubai's innovation-driven economy in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. Over the three days, participants follow a comprehensive track covering idea development, team formation, business modeling, project pitch preparation, and public speaking skills through practical training sessions.

The program culminates in project presentations before a judging panel comprising partners from the government and private sectors. The top three winning teams will be honored. The judging panel includes representatives from Dubai Municipality, du, You Bank, Aramex, Dubai Digital, Dubai Sports Council, Mubadala, Launchpad, and the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprise Development.
