Dubai Properties, a subsidiary of Dubai Properties Group, has announced the award of contracts worth approximately AED 1.1 billion to Metak General Contracting to build 850 townhouses in the Filanova residential community in Dubai Land. The contracts cover the first and second phases of the La Tilia project, which will include 500 three-bedroom homes and 350 four-bedroom homes. The first phase will provide 410 residential units, while the second phase will add another 440 units. Dubai Properties noted that since its launch, the Filanova residential community has handed over 3,834 residential units, cementing its status as a premium residential destination attracting middle and upper-middle-class families. The company stated that this expansion reflects the growing demand for integrated residential communities that offer green spaces, comprehensive connectivity services, and proximity to major road networks and social infrastructure. Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Properties Group, said: "The award of these contracts reflects the sustained demand for high-quality residential communities suitable for families in Dubai." He added: "The Filanova community has proven its strong appeal to buyers, and this new expansion will boost this momentum. Through disciplined execution and trusted partnerships, we remain committed to the timely delivery of the La Tilia project, meeting our clients' expectations."
