The Abu Dhabi Ports Group will continue to operate under the wise leadership of the state, ensuring the flow of goods through local and regional markets, especially essential food, medicines, strategic reserves, and materials for key sectors.

To ensure the continuity of regular shipping services to Khalifa Port and along the three main trade routes connecting the eastern ports of the United Arab Emirates to the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea, the Group has launched new regional container shipping services to enhance the supply chain. This contributed to the redeployment and expansion of its dedicated fleet, which now includes 24 container and cargo vessels, with plans to expand the fleet's capacity.

The Group's shipping services, previously provided by 'Seafeders' and 'Global Fed Shipping,' have been redirected through the ports of Fujairah and Khorfakkan on the Gulf of Oman, providing an alternative gateway to the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council region.

New regional container shipping services have also been launched, connecting ports in India, Pakistan, and Oman with ports in the Red Sea and upper Gulf Arab.

By leveraging its logistical assets and strategic and business networks, the Group has launched an air bridge consisting of three chartered aircraft to transport vital goods, with plans to increase its capacity.

The Group has opened a land bridge for transporting goods from Fujairah and Khorfakkan through customs corridors in the UAE to Khalifa Port, Jebel Ali Port, and the emirate of Sharjah via 800 Group-owned trucks and four daily Union Rail trips.

These platforms, by unifying and processing data across the Group's global operations, enable the use of real-time shipping line information to ensure supply chain security. At the same time, empty import containers are being used in export operations via alternative high-traffic corridors, which has helped improve flexibility and reduce time and cost for clients.

These efforts are supported by the Group's storage capabilities and warehouses for essential goods, which currently cover an area exceeding 76,000 square meters, with plans to increase the storage area to 188,000 square meters.

The Group has also launched new shipping management platforms thanks to its award-winning digital infrastructure, which has helped enhance flexibility, gain visibility into different aspects of operations, and efficiently manage the flow of trade.

Support for trade systems in 5 business sectors continues as usual. The Group's operations are directed to 'Fujairah' and 'Khorfakkan'.

Abu Dhabi Ports Group has successfully continued to leverage its diverse capabilities to support local and regional supply chains in the Arabian Gulf region, enhancing their flexibility. Since the beginning of regional developments at the end of last February, the Group has been able to continue its operations as usual to serve the needs of its global customers, by launching alternative routes and redirecting cargo flows via land, rail, sea, and air corridors to mitigate the impact of disruptions that affected supply chains in the Arabian Gulf ports in light of the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.

To date, the Group has successfully handled over 54,000 TEUs through the ports of Fujairah and Khorfakkan, in addition to transporting over 22,000 TEUs via its land network and 18,000 TEUs via its sea network, supported by a dedicated fleet of 24 vessels offering 8 regional shipping services.

Additionally, over 8,000 tons of goods have been transported via its air logistics services through more than 100 chartered flights.

'Our long-term investments in our diverse and comprehensive network of logistical and business infrastructure have enabled us to execute one of the largest logistics services redistribution and deployment operations in the UAE with speed, flexibility, and high efficiency,' said Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamsi, Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports Group.
