Dubai Implements New Lease Cancellation Service

The Department of Land and Real Estate in Dubai has announced that the service for requesting the cancellation of the rental agreement allows clients to terminate the completed or freed rental agreement for leased real estate in Dubai. When submitting an application, it is necessary to provide the rental agreement, and the cancellation will only be executed in case of its validity. It is also necessary to present the Emirates ID card, and in case the applicant is an agent, provide the official power of attorney. In the event that the official power of attorney is issued in Dubai, it is possible to indicate the power of attorney number without the need to attach it.

"We are pleased to offer this service to our clients to ensure their convenience and accessibility of the process of canceling the rental agreement. All documents required for the request must be provided to our department," the department noted.
