According to the customs data, the turnover of the food products sector in Dubai reached 58.35 billion dirhams in 2023.
This sector is becoming increasingly significant for the economy of Dubai. Compared to the previous year, an increase in trade turnover of 7% can be noted in 2023. This growth indicates that the demand for ready-to-eat food products remains stable.
It is important to note that the main partner countries of Dubai in this sector include the USA, India, Germany, China, and Saudi Arabia. Trade with these countries shows a tendency for constant growth, indicating the successful development of trade ties in the ready-made food products sector.
The director of the General Administration of Customs of Dubai noted: "The growth of trade in the ready-made food products sector is a clear indicator of the importance of this industry for Dubai's economy. We will continue to support this sector and create conditions for its productive development."
