The global port operator DP World has introduced new tariffs for the parking of trucks.
The new tariff includes a daily charge for truck parking within the container terminal, which allows for improved efficiency of operations in this area. The designated area for transport means is equipped with all necessary facilities for the placement of trucks safely.
The Vice President for terminals at DP World Middle East and Africa emphasized that the introduction of the new fee is essential for optimizing the usage of the parking area and contributing to a smoother and more effective operation of the port. 'We provide parking services for the convenience of our clients and partners, however, the introduction of this new fee will allow us to better utilize resources and make parking more organized and accessible for all,' he noted.
