A seminar on electronic auditing was held in Dubai, organized by the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) together with the World Bank, which became the first event of this level in the world. The forum 'Global Cloud Governance' united representatives of the World Bank's electronic auditing center, digital governments, cloud service providers, and experts from both the public and private sectors.
The Deputy Governor of Dubai, Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, stated that the forum will become a center for developing audit strategies for the coming five years. The event aims to facilitate the introduction of modern technologies, such as electronic auditing, data protection, and artificial intelligence.
The forum 'Global Cloud Governance' highlighted important topics such as green cloud, artificial intelligence, quantum auditing, and data protection. Albert Shaibani, the Executive Director of DESC, noted that holding the event in Dubai underscores the readiness of the emirate for innovations and the development of infrastructure, aligning with its status as a global center for digital development.
Participants at the forum focused on developing electronic technologies, involving interested parties and partners in collaborative work on innovative solutions. The event also allowed for evaluating the technologies used by Dubai's government, their sustainability, and relevance.
The forum aims to stimulate electronic technology and develop cooperation between government agencies and private entities. Participants utilized design-thinking methods and scenario planning to search for contemporary solutions. The events concluded with discussions of key results and recommendations.
After the forum, participants visited the 'Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park,' the largest solar park in the world, to familiarize themselves with innovative technologies that support the green electronic auditing in Dubai.
