In February of the next year, six of the strongest international and local cycling events will take place in Dubai. The best male and female cyclists from around the world will participate in these races. These events will be organized with the support of the Dubai Sports Council. Among the main races will be the Dubai Tour for men, Dubai Women's Tour, Le Tour Dubai, Spinneys Dubai 92, Desert Road Race, and the women's run as part of the Dubai Sports Council Cycling Championship.
The first race will be the Dubai Le Tap Race, starting on February 2 in the Dubai Design District, which will host its first international competition organized by the Tour de France company, in collaboration with Belleville and Be Cool Events, supported by Skoda Auto. This race, which enjoys great popularity among cycling enthusiasts, will immerse participants in the atmosphere of the elegance and history of the famous Le Tour de France.
The race will feature four distances: the first – 110 km, the second – 60 km, the third – a non-competitive 20 km for participants from 11 years old, and also a race for children aged three to 14 on a 3 km course. The race route will pass by the main attractions of Dubai. It is planned that the details and specifics of the race will be announced at a press conference, which will take place tomorrow at the headquarters of the Dubai Sports Council.
