Dubai Municipality is set to launch the third season of the Ramadan Souq, an event organized to support tourism, entertainment, and commercial activities in the emirate. The market, open daily from 10 am to 10 pm, aims to encourage investment and boost demand for public facilities and entertainment venues.

Asem Al Qassim, Director of Architectural Heritage and Antiquities Department at Dubai Municipality, highlighted the significance of the Ramadan Souq as a traditional event marking the start of the holy month of Ramadan. He emphasized the importance of preserving the heritage of traditional markets, which play a vital role in Dubai's history.

The Ramadan Souq will be organized in the Grand Souq area of Deira, one of Dubai's oldest markets known for its role as a shopping hub and a tourist attraction reflecting the emirate's cultural legacy. The event will provide a unique shopping experience with competitive prices, attracting a diverse audience from young people and families to heritage and culture enthusiasts.

Stalls run by longstanding shopkeepers will offer Ramadan supplies and products for the 'Haq Al Laila' celebration in a miniature souq alongside the historic Deira Souq. The market, running until 22 February, aims to preserve traditional customs in preparation for Ramadan, promote the historical heritage of traditional markets, and offer a platform for investors to showcase their products.

The Ramadan Souq will feature recreational, tourism, and commercial activities catering to the needs of the community, including citizens, residents, tourists, and visitors. Attendees can expect commercial displays of food, personal items, and various products, as well as live entertainment, workshops, and activities for children.
