Dubai has recently unveiled a new, unfenced, family-friendly park in Al Awir 2. The city continues to expand its offering of parks tailored for families with this latest addition. The park, covering 10,500 square meters, boasts a variety of features including green spaces, fitness equipment, jogging tracks, children’s play areas, and other amenities.
The design of the park is creatively crafted with a rustic inspiration drawn from the natural environment, geography, and rural allure of Al Awir II. The park is richly populated with local environment trees such as Albizia, Vikes, Plumeria (Indian Jasmine), Al Shuraish, and Ghaf.
Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, underlined the vision behind the park's creation, emphasizing the Municipality's commitment to developing exceptional public parks and recreational spaces. Anwahi articulated, “Our goal is to offer top-notch infrastructure, services, and recreational facilities that enhance the quality of life and well-being for Dubai’s residents.”
Moreover, the new park is anticipated to fortify social connections among families and friends, in addition to presenting fresh investment prospects for citizens to exhibit their local projects.
