
The tournament in archery organized by Fazaa Group has concluded in Dubai, held at the shooting range in the Ruwaya area. More than 2000 athletes from different nationalities participated in the competitions. The events were conducted at a high level, with records being broken and close results in all categories.
In the finals of the "bird hunting" category, the team of athletes from the UAE demonstrated superiority. In the men's competitions, the first place was taken by Omani athlete Tabit Salem Jadad, and the runner-up was UAE-born Mohamad Hammad Mashirafi. In the women's category, the first place was also claimed by an athlete from Oman.
In the "bird hunting" category, the duo from the UAE, Ahmad Khalid Al Kaabi and Mohamad Hilal Al Kaabi, secured victory. The second and third places were taken by teams from Oman.
The main guest of the tournament was Sheikh Ahmad bin Mohamad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, head of the Federation of Archery from the UAE. He presented prizes to the winners and emphasized the important role of Fazaa Group in developing traditional sports in the country, especially in the field of archery. The Sheikh noted that the center plays a key role in preserving the cultural and sporting legacy and organizing events for its preservation.
Abdullah bin Dalmak, head of Fazaa Group, also pointed out that the center's support is not limited to archery but includes comprehensive support for cultural events, celebrations of the national heritage of the UAE, and called on all parties to participate in the organized events.
