
In the framework of strengthening communication and knowledge exchange, a delegation from the National Library of Singapore visited the SAWA for Arts & Design library, belonging to the Cultural and Artistic Management of Dubai "Dubai for Culture". The purpose of the visit was to study advanced practices in managing public libraries, as well as activating communications.
During the visit, the delegation met with the leaders of "Dubai for Culture" to discuss the potential for cooperation and opportunities for developing interactive educational platforms. The importance of public libraries in supporting entrepreneurship and developing creative abilities was also discussed.
Particular attention was paid to the initiative "Dubai for Culture" on transforming public libraries into creative centers, capable of stimulating the development of cultural and life skills of the community, as well as promoting reading.
The goal of the visit was also to establish contact with the SAWA for Arts & Design library, where the delegation learned about various services and programs of educational events. New projects on digital transformation, the use of artificial intelligence and smart technologies were also presented, and methods of managing and enriching the content of public libraries in Dubai were discussed.
After this, the delegation visited the exhibition "Bashnya Rashid", organized by "Dubai for Culture" with the support of the platform "Uilaf", dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the opening of the landmark building.
