The second ceremony of the Delivery Service Excellence Award, organized by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and the Dubai Police headquarters, aims to recognize companies and drivers for safe and quality services in the delivery sector. Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Director of the Dubai Police Traffic Department, emphasized the important role of specialized awards and initiatives in improving safety and service quality in the delivery sector.
He encouraged companies and specialized entities to actively participate in the award by nominating their organization or their drivers. Applications are accepted until May 31, 2025.
Three categories are distinguished within the award framework: Companies, Drivers, and Partners. Additionally, 200 top drivers will be recognized. As Ahmed Mahboob, the General Director of the RTA Licensing Agency, notes, the project's goal is to stimulate drivers to enhance the quality of delivery services, contributing to their growth in a safe and reliable environment.
Mahboob underscored that these efforts are part of a broader strategy to ensure that Dubai maintains its reputation as one of the safest cities in the world. This stimulates competition among delivery companies, enhances service quality, and helps enforce traffic rules.
General Al Mazrouei added that such initiatives are directed not only at compliance with traffic rules but also at promoting positive behavior behind the wheel and fostering a culture of safety within the community, which ultimately benefits all participants in road traffic.
