As part of the project "Art in Public Spaces," a sculpture created by the world-renowned artist El Seed was presented in Dubai. The sculpture represents the word "Imagination" in pink letters, located in the center of the Creation Center. The artist chose an unusual pink color for Arabic calligraphy, which gives his work a uniqueness. The project has strategic importance in the development of art in public spaces and aims to attract public attention to art and provoke interest in its production.
Citing El Seed: "Art should be unbounded and constantly evolving to avoid repetition." The artist also emphasized the importance of involving the public in the process of perceiving art to create awareness and affection for production.
The project manager noted that the sculpture became part of a large-scale project of dissemination of art in public spaces. The artist's work is referred to as a means of integrating art into the everyday life of the inhabitants, allowing them to better understand the history and future of their heritage.
Importantly, the project "Art in Public Spaces" in Dubai was launched by His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed al Maktoum, emphasizing the significance of supporting and developing art in public spaces. Collaboration between government institutions and the private sector allows the planting of local artistic production spaces reflecting the cultural identity of the Emirates and contributing to the development of the creative industry.
